Most websites still assume the visitor wants to browse. Open a menu, find a page, scan it and hope the answer is there.
AI gives you another option: let the visitor ask the website the question directly. What is the right product for this room? Do you deliver here? Which service covers this problem? What happens next?
The useful version is not a generic chatbot that pops up and says “How can I help?” It is a narrow assistant that actually knows the content, products or service it is sitting beside.
That changes the job of the website slightly. The pages still matter, but they also become the knowledge that powers a conversation. For some visitors, asking is simply quicker than browsing.
